Balance of State-Dairyland 

The Dairyland COC region is comprised these counties: Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, Trempealeau. Residents in these counties can use the contact information below to initiate access to housing providers and resources to end, shorten or prevent homelessness.

Local COC meeting information

The Dairyland COC covers a large rural geography and therefore has two local COC's that meet to share ideas and collaborate on specific issues about rural homelessness.  Email Jeanne Semb if you would like to know about the frequency and location of these meetings.  ​
Rural Housing Coalition

The Rural Housing Coalition meets quarterly in January, April, July and September at the Western Dairyland office in Independence.​

Coordinated Entry Process

​The Coordinated Entry process was created to streamline access to the housing solution that fits your situation.  In order to determine the best solution for you, we will provide you with screening and assessment to help you find housing.  Based on the assessment, you will be referred to a prioritization list for various program types and provided additional information upon request.

Individuals and Families in Need

If you are experiencing a housing crisis or homelessness, please provide your name, email address or a telephone number and brief description of the situation.  A provider will contact you to discuss the options in your community within 48 hours.
