Delegate Information
Each Local Coalition selects a Delegate according to it's established Governance Documents. The Delegate attends the Quarterly Business Meeting on behalf of the Member (Local Coalition).
As stated in Article II Section 4 of the WIBOSCOC Restated Bylaws each Member is entitled to one vote, cast in person or by written proxy by the Member’s Delegate at any meeting of the Membership on a matter where voting is permitted. Members are permitted to vote only on the following matters:
1. The election and removal of Directors;
2. The acceptance of new Members and the termination of Membership;
3. The adoption of the Corporation’s annual budget (including annual Membership dues) and any changes to the budget that are proposed by the Board of Directors; and
4. The adoption of any proposed amendments to the Articles of Incorporation and these Bylaws.
Several weeks prior to each Quarterly Business Meeting the COC Director sends Delegates all necessary materials for review. As such, the Delegate Change Form Process has been created for Local Coalitions to communicate with the BOS when a permanent or temporary Delegate change has been made. Please use the Delegate Change as indicated in the instructions.
