As required by HUD, the Balance of State CoC uses an objective scoring rubric to evaluated and rank projects for the CoC Competition. Each year, the Board of Directors releases the tool for comment by the membership. The “CoC Project Scoring Tool Explanation FY2018” has been broken down to sections so you can reference that section when providing comments. Please read the instructions prior to submitting comments. Comments must be submitted no later than March 15, 2019 and sent to email@example.com. Following the comment period, the Board of Directors will review and finalize a scoring tool prior to the Balance of State CoC May meeting. A webinar will be scheduled to discuss the final tool, highlighting the changes and process. Board of Director Scoring Tool Each section available for comment or feedback has been listed as a “Section” with a number. When submitting comments, please make sure you reference the Section and number. For example, if you want to make comments about the draft timeline – you will write: Section 2 - then type your comments. Hopefully this process will help the reviewers clarify which comments are intended for which sections. Also, there are several sections that have some specific questions listed in red. The Board is specifically looking for insight on these areas.
