Meetings are held quarterly for the purpose of education around best practices, HUD policies and business related to the organizational effectiveness as a 501(c3). Listed below is the schedule for the upcoming year and links to the historical documents related to those meetings.
These meetings are open to all organizations within the 69 Balance of State counties. A meeting fee is charged to cover the costs of speakers, lunch and facility costs for the conference. where we meet
The Wisconsin Balance of State COC meets on a quarterly basis to inform, educate and update its membership of changes and opportunities within the organization. A detailed agenda will be posted as soon as it is ready. The meetings usually begin at 9:00 am and last until at least 4:00 pm.
Pricing for Conference Registration:
There are different costs for members and non-members. A member of the Balance of State is a person who works in one of the 69 counties that comprise the Balance of State COC. A non-member is a person who works in Dane, Milwaukee, Racine, and/or anywhere out of state. If an agency is based out of state but staff work in one or more of the 69 counties in the Balance of State, s/he can pay the “member” rate.
Thursday Only: $65.00
Friday Only: $65.00
Both days = $125.00 per person
Thursday Only: $ 80.00 per person
Friday Only: $80 per person
Both days = $150 per person
Every registration includes a luncheon and snacks. If you have a special dietary request, you will be given the option to indicate gluten free or vegetarian, during registration.

A registration for the Annual meeting with the Wisconsin Balance of State COC does NOT include a stay at the meeting location.
You can reserve your hotel room at any time under the block of rooms reserved for the Wisconsin Balance of State COC. The block will be held until April 16, 2017. Please use the Madison Concourse phone number 1-800-356-8293. This block of rooms will not be available after April 16, 2017 and the block room rates are not available for booking online.

Current applicable rates shall apply to all guests that do not have the proper state identification.
Payment: Guests need to call in and pay for their own reservation.
Parking charges are based the rate at the time of the event. As of now, the current rate is $1.50 per hour up to a maximum of $17 per date. The rate for overnight guests is $10.
Deadline for registration is Wednesday May 10th, 2017. Walk-ins and late registration will be charged an additional $20/day.
If you cancel before Wednesday May 1st, 2017 at 5:00 pm – you can be reimbursed. You must email Carrie Poser at email@example.com prior to 05/01/2017 at 5:00 pm.
If you cancel after May 1st at 5:00 pm but before Wednesday, May 10th at noon, then you are eligible for a 50% reimbursement. You must email Carrie Poser at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to 05/10/2017 at noon.
Anything after Wednesday, May 10th at noon, all registration fees are non-refundable.
No funds will be credited to a future events.
